Scrap6Rose

Scrap 8 Rose is a 12 inch wood disc painted white.  On S8R, acrylic paint leftovers from the mosiac making & naturally occuring drips and runs off from previous painted works are collected in a displayed.  These organic shaped pieces beautifully mimic the petals of a peony, a ruffeled iris or of course a rose.  The range from shades of magenta and purple blend inward towards a pop of a yellow throat on this first floral piece from the studio.  S8R is sealed in resin for a sleek glass like finish.
